Achieve The Coveted White Lotus Look With Mosaic Art
(4 min read) The White Lotus show has been captivating the audiences with its sharp commentary, intricate characters, and fabulous resorts for a while now. It was clear right from the get-go that it isn’t just a show about the rich and their endless drama, but also a visual feast of breathtaking interior design, where meticulously curated interiors play an important role in their own right. Today we will be helping you achieve exactly those interiors with the assistance of mosaic art.

Needless to say, the show flexes a variety of distinctive interior styles from lush tropical settings to minimalist elegance. Each interior seems to be created to reflect not just the opulent wealth of the characters, but also their entitlement, undercurrent tensions brewing between them, and deep-rooted issues simmering beneath the surface of perfection. Keeping all of that in mind, it is no wonder that the show is as addictive as it can be, and the audience is eager to capture at least a modicum of its recognizable style in which luxury meets dysfunction.

Tropical Modernism
Season one of The White Lotus is set in a fictional Hawaiian resort, where all interiors are positively drenched with tropical, but contemporary vibes. Sleek modern designs seamlessly blended with nature, spacious and airy rooms bathed in natural light, and minimalist yet luxurious furnishings were the it factors of the first-season aesthetic. To achieve this particular look, you don’t need to have all of those components. Pair any of those with mosaic art featuring lush green scenery or powerful fauna imagery, and voila! You’ve got yourself a White Lotus interior without much renovation. Mosaic art will always work as a focal point that will draw attention wherever you decide to add it, so it will undoubtedly compensate for any flaw in your interior.

Old Hollywood Glam
Season two of The White Lotus transports us to Sicily, to a grandiose hotel set on the stunning Amalfi coast. In contrast to all of the bright and airy designs featured in season one, the interiors here are rich, bold, and opulent, screaming Old Hollywood glamour. The interiors are drenched in golden tones, sleek marble, and lush velvet. The style itself is traditional with baroque-inspired furniture, huge chandeliers, and dark wood finishes. This one might seem tricky to pull off, but if your home already features at least some of these elements, all you need is a large-scale mosaic mural to save the day. Think famous mosaic reproductions, or some mosaic medallions featuring Greek patterns or historical and mythological scenes. These will do miracles for those dark and opulent vibes you are going for.

Barely there minimalism
The suites featured in the show are a true study of minimalism. Stripped back, but never boring, the suites manage to avoid all of the usual beach resort cliches (no nets, seashells, and lighthouse figurines). Instead, the focus is on muted tones, glass surfaces, and modern art pieces. If you’ve already started decluttering to achieve this look, then you are on a good track. Once your space is ready, all you’ll need is a stunning, but inconspicuous mosaic artwork to set the tone. Go for monochrome pieces with either ethereal quality or sharp lines. Both will accentuate the overall minimalism of the space without disrupting the clean and sleek vibes of it.

Beach boho-chic
The show undoubtedly thrives on showcasing the polished, high-end everyday lives of its characters, there is also a touch of laid-back, almost nomadic chic throughout. Colorful throw pillows, eclectic vibrant patterns, and woven rugs are meaningfully sprinkled here and there, breathing some life into the more informal spaces of the beach resort. If you’ve already started adding colorful pieces and knitted covers, some vibrant mosaic artwork will do miracles for your coho space and complete the look perfectly. Think strong colors, bold patterns, and intricate mosaic designs.
