To help you make the most of your space for a lifetime and beyond, we decided to share with you the top interior design trends for 2019 to inspire you while you work on your next big design project.

Floral Patterns

The traditional beauty of floral patterns has been around for a while already. In the upcoming year, it will be even presented in a whole new light with contrasting colors used for this lasting and timeless decor trend.

Black & White

Colors might come and go, but there is one thing we are sure will never change. Black and white have always been in trend and classy. The visual contrast of these two colors will always provide a sense of great balance to your living space. And 2019 is not an exception.

Copper Accent

A lot has been discussed about copper being in or out in the 2019 design trends. Some think it might already start making its way out to give room for other natural-looking metals. But we think it will surely be used more in 2019. With its red and orange tones and overall earthy hue, copper is a much-needed breath of fresh air for the new year.

Bold Dramatic Walls

Single-colored walls are here to make a much bigger impact in 2019 interior design trends by creating a balanced background for your decor and furnishing. Here you can get as trendy and creative with the accent color as you wish. Make sure to make it work well with your furniture.

Sustainable Handmade Pieces

People tend to love using handmade sustainable decors and art pieces in their interior design. And 2019 will take the trend to the next level with more and more people needing these grounding elements to feel more in touch with the earth and their roots.

Natural Fabrics

Natural fabrics are going to be a key trend that will hit the mainstream in 2019. The movement towards natural fabrics speaks to the broader conversations across design right now that is all about embracing a peaceful retreat from crazy, modern life. And the best thing about it is that it can be found it furniture, cushions, tapestries and a lot more.

I’d probably go for black and white as well as bold, plain colors. Floral is beautiful but I just find it too much in the eyes.

I love the black and white idea, it’s simple, and yet elegant. It makes a statement without being too dramatic! Our home is full of bold walls at the moment, the previous homeowners had a different color for every room. It can be a bit chaotic with their color choices (oranges, reds, blues) but this gives me some ideas of home to maybe change it up in 2019!

I love patterns and prints and my favorite of them was the red and white striped chairs. So pretty. I could see myself decorating all around based on that. I really like it.

I like the floral and the sustainable items trend. It seems like the copper trend is a natural progression from the rose gold trend.

I love the blue / green and pink / green florals but would probably settle on something more subdued. I’ve been seeing a lot of copper items in stores in my city in the past few months as well.
