Interior Design Resolutions You Should Make in 2019

With the new year just around the corner, it is the high time to start planning all the wonderful resolutions to keep during the upcoming year. And that does not only include gym membership card or yoga class registration. It can also include making some awesome changes to your interior. We encourage you to take this opportunity and look at every room every space of your home in an entirely new light.
With this in mind, together with the help of the Austin based award-winning Interior Design studio Etch Design Group, we’ve come up with a couple of easy-to-achieve 2019 interior design resolutions.
Go Big With Colors

Just one piece of eye-catching statement can do a lot to change up your room. Wallpapers could be a great way to make that statement. According to Etch Design Group, there are more options than ever before when it comes to color, texture
Get Artsy
Who doesn’t love art? And nowadays, there is so much more you can do with art than just have an oil painting hanging up on your wall. Number one thing here is getting as creative as you could get. Whether it’s a contemporary wall art or a tile mosaic artwork, go off your limits and come up with ideas that will surely catch everyone’s eye and bring you joy throughout the year.
Think Outside The Box
Start thinking about redesigning the “not so popular” rooms of your house, like your bathroom. Try to make some adjustments, like installing a marble mosaic floor or adding a nice color cabinetry. Choose the room you are planning to redecorate, then consider the room’s function. Then just start editing what you have there and come up with ideas that will give a fresh look and feel to your place.
At the end feel free to come up any extraordinary and creative idea. According to Stephanie Lindsey, NCIDQ certified interior designer in Etch Design Group, “The main resolution in 2019 is to bring a fresh, positive and forward-thinking approach to all of the projects, increasing collaboration and creativity. Design can truly bring people together, and what is New Year all about if not positive vibes and enjoyable friends and family.”

What a great set of resolutions! I try to live by that purpose, but sometimes I go a bit awol and totally forget what I should be doing. I end up throwing those items away.

My husband and I have been trying hard to get our house CLASSY! We have actually been doing a good job surprisingly enough – ha! But I know there are still little things we need to get done! I love the BOLD COLORS idea and right now we have a very MUTED palette to play with sooooo bring em on!
