Mosaic mirrors — the most captivating focal point of your space

(3 min read) First off, we’re gonna mention some fun facts about mirrors. So, we all know that you can travel through time with mirrors, right? Uh, huh. You put two mirrors in a vacuum, placing them a couple of micrometers apart, which creates the Casimir effect. Long story short, you get a wormhole and you can do some relaxed time-traveling. However, it’s not all fun and dandy. We all know that if you break a mirror while looking at it, it traps your soul, right? And then you have to break it into smaller pieces to release your soul or throw it into the river because the river will wash your soul out of the mirror. Ugh. I know, lot of work for just one soul, but someone’s gotta do it…

Now that we’ve settled that, let’s chat about the reality of things. Whether you are superstitious or not, you must admit, there is something mystical about mirrors. Most of us freaked out in front of a mirror at least once. Whether because it’s midnight and you said Bloody Marry three times, or because you git a giant zit on our nose before an important job interview, is of no relevance. Mirrors are weird, and they’ve been freaking people out for centuries, so let me ask you this: Why mess with them on purpose? And that one question sums up my take on mosaic mirrors.

However, I’m here to bring you solutions, let you revel in superstitions and bad vibes. If you are adamant about making your mirror stand out and look fancy, mosaics still are the way to go. Mosaic artists have been aware of the appeal of mosaics for centuries now, and that is exactly how long they’ve been framing them. There is not a wooden or metal frame in the world that could ever look as interesting and as good as a mosaic border. Not to mention that unlike with wooden and metal frames, you can add mosaic borders to almost anything to embellish it and make it stand out. However, we are talking about mirrors here, so let’s stick to that.

Depending on the particular style of your home interiors you can go for a wide variety of mosaics. Even better, you can go completely opposite of your style, and make your gorgeous mirror the focal point of your space.

Classical abstract and geometrical motifs never go out of fashion, because they were never in it to begin with. Needless to say, you can never go wrong with them. On our website, you can find a variety of both, regardless of the color and style you might be going for. Check out this link for gorgeous mosaic borders.

It is also good to mention that the color isn’t really all that important when it comes to the mosaic art mirror borders. They will always be eye-catching, simply because they are unusual, intricate and pretty. Of course, you can always opt for a bold color, but it isn’t really crucial to the look itself.

If you are up for some more colorful solutions, floral patterns never go out of style and they offer so many unexpected and gorgeous combinations. Whether you choose roses or lilies, the borders will make your otherwise ordinary mirror look amazing. If you are really going for colorful, you can always go for arabesque and kaleidoscope patterns, my personal favorites.

In conclusion, mirrors can be creepy, if you let them. In a way, they are some of those rare objects that simply demand your attention. So, give them attention, make them beautiful. That way, even if the mirror does trap your soul, at least your soul will get to hang out in a fabulously designed place. *wink wink*
